Peter Rasmussen

Peter's career spans significant contributions to the convenience store industry. Beginning at Sheetz and continuing with a 17-year tenure at Wawa, he played pivotal roles in Store Operations and Marketing, crucially driving the company's expansion into Florida, where, by 2020, Wawa boasted 8,000 employees and 220 stores.

In 2020, Peter co-founded Neon Marketplace, a pioneering New England-based concept blending food and energy in convenience retail. Subsequently, he launched Convenience and Energy Advisors, providing specialized consulting, marketing, and digital technology services exclusively for convenience stores, truck stops, and travel centers.

Peter actively supports the convenience and energy sectors, serving on the Associate Board of Directors for NECSEMA (New England Convenience Store and Energy Marketers Association), as a Board Member of ElectroTempo, and contributing as a columnist to Convenience Store and Petroleum Magazine (CSP).
