Dennis Francis is the Director of Operations for ExtraMile Convenience Stores LLC, a joint venture between Chevron and Jacksons Energy.  With a wealth of experience, Francis’ journey in the industry began as he led operations in Southern California for 7-Eleven Inc. from 2010 to 2021, where he honed his skills and developed successful strategies to build the convenience store business.

Prior to that, Francis spent two decades with Yum Brands Inc., a QSR industry leader (Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, KFC), undertaking various leadership positions.  These included Regional Manager of Southern California, Training and Development Manager for the Western States, and Restaurant Readiness Manager in the Western States.

Francis’ dedication to community development and economic growth led to his appointment as a board member of the Workforce Development Board by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.  In this role, he oversaw the management of over $80 million in public funds, focusing on building the Los Angeles economy and improving the quality of life for all community members.

Currently residing in the Bay Area with his wife Monique, Francis finds joy in spending time with his two children, Brianna and Dennis.  In his leisure time, he indulges his passion for exploring diverse cultures and learning about their history through travel abroad.

Francis’ educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the California State University of San Diego, equipping him with a solid foundation for his achievements in the field of operations management.
